Weleda Skin Food – Nourishing Night Cream

Weleda are driven by an understanding of the connections between nature and the human body, mind and spirit. Their products are made from natural raw ingredients that haven’t been genetically modified in any way. They are free from microplastics and mineral oil-based ingredients. All Weleda products are cruelty free and are certified as natural by NATRUE.

Ethics

Weleda are members of the Union for Ethical BioTrade (UETB) and ensure that their supply chain adheres to strict ethical criteria. The UETB standards require sustainable local development and the protection of biodiversity. All raw materials are sourced ethically, responsibly and sustainably. Weleda have eight gardens across the world where they grow medicinal plants for their products based on the principles of biodynamic farming. Weleda nurture healthy soils and encourage biodiversity, fostering equitable relationship with their cultivation partners.

As a B Corp certified brand, they demonstrate exceptionally high ethical, environmental and socially responsible standards.

Environmental Impact

Weleda use 100% green energy in their production facilities in Germany, Switzerland and France. They recognise that biodynamic farming enables the storage of carbon in the soil and are therefore increasing these farming methods to benefit the planet and the environment.

Weleda has a robust sustainability plan that is regularly monitored and reviewed. They continue to significantly increase the amount of recycled material they use in their packaging and are improving their mobility and logistics operations to be as efficient and environmentally friendly as possible. Using True Cost Accounting, they are committed to understanding and addressing any ‘hidden costs’ of their operations which includes costs to the environment and any social impact.

Currently 80% of Weleda’s raw materials are organic. They are committed to improving this year on year.

Animal Testing

Weleda are cruelty free. They do not test their finished products or ingredients on animals and neither do their suppliers or third parties. Weleda do test their products on humans. They carry out extensive toxicology and skin tolerability tests to ensure that they demonstrate excellent quality and effectiveness. All Weleda products carry the NATRUE certification.

Shipping

We ship to all mainland UK addresses. We always aim to process and dispatch all orders within 24 hours and we pride ourselves on the fact that over 95% of orders we receive are on their way to you within this time frame.

All orders are tracked so you’ll receive updates about when your parcel will be delivered.

Shipping fees and delivery times may vary depending on the shipping method selected.

Delivery fees:

Standard:             £3.49 – Royal Mail Tracked 48 (orders will arrive within 2-3 business days)

Priority:                £4.99 – Royal Mail Tracked 24 (orders will arrive within 24 hours once dispatched)

Orders over £35 receive FREE Standard delivery. Customers can choose to upgrade to Priority delivery at the checkout.

FREE local delivery to PE36 and Heacham postcodes. Use voucher code pe36 at checkout.

We offer a Click and Collect service from our Hunstanton address.

Returns

In the event that you are unhappy with any of your purchases, please contact us and we will be happy to issue you with a full refund or a replacement.

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the product is faulty or damaged. We recommend using a reliable shipping service, with tracking, to ensure that products are returned safely as we cannot be held responsible any damage caused during the return process. We are unable to provide a refund for any opened or used products. We are unable to accept returns as a result of deliveries being late or delayed.

Cancellation

You are legally entitled to cancel your order within 7 days of receipt of your purchase providing the goods are returned unused, unopened and with their original packaging.

Should you wish to cancel or amend your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Although we will do our best, amendments to your order cannot be guaranteed.
