Weleda are driven by an understanding of the connections between nature and the human body, mind and spirit. Their products are made from natural raw ingredients that haven’t been genetically modified in any way. They are free from microplastics and mineral oil-based ingredients. All Weleda products are cruelty free and are certified as natural by NATRUE.

Weleda are members of the Union for Ethical BioTrade (UETB) and ensure that their supply chain adheres to strict ethical criteria. The UETB standards require sustainable local development and the protection of biodiversity. All raw materials are sourced ethically, responsibly and sustainably.

As a B Corp certified brand, they demonstrate exceptionally high ethical, environmental and socially responsible standards.

Weleda use 100% green energy in their production facilities in Germany, Switzerland and France. They recognise that biodynamic farming enables the storage of carbon in the soil and are therefore increasing these farming methods to benefit the planet and the environment. Weleda has a robust sustainability plan that is regularly monitored and reviewed.

Currently 80% of Weleda’s raw materials are organic. They are committed to improving this year on year.
